Hi!

I am pretty new to all this, and would really appreciate if someone could tell me how to make an object follow the contours of a matrix and jump on a matrix! I'm using DBPro.

Thanks in advance!

You would move your charcter around in 3d space and use the get ground height command to find the ground height at the point that your character is at. You would then position your character.

To make your character jump you would use a gravity code (see my website) and enable the gravity variable when a button is pressed.

There are pleanty of tuts around, look on the db site and in the help files. Sorry I cant explain it in more detail, but its probably best you work out most of it yourself.

Why the hell'd you ask me for crying out loud!?!
