Iam not sure how to reduce how far a plater can hear a sound being played from an entity. I added a sound to one, but I could hear it any where I went. Is there a way to only hear the sound if your within range of the entity?

That has been a problem but I think V1.04 addresses it. I tested the steam decal sound the other day and it did seem to lessen a lot better the further away I got. About half way across the grid I couldn't hear it anymore, but I'm getting deaf so it may be a little further for others.

The forum provides a means to hide our true identity. Too bad we always screw up and let it be seen.

Its a shame, because I want my rpg level to have sounds, but when I test the level, I hear the mall at once.

The new update didnt work for me, it gave me an error in the editor, on load up, and closed down.

are you using sound=X or plrsound=x?
I think plrsound=x plays the audio from the players position.
