Good luck! Dark Basic Pro is great for making games, It's a dream come true. Keep in mind that you won't be able to make the next Half-life right away, but with some practice you can make better and better games. Be sure to read my Pac-Man tutorial (the link's in my sig) after you've mastered the basics, it's coming along quite well.
