I've just done a review on my site for the ultimate gaming keyboard/mouse combo

http://www.thingy-ma-jig.co.uk/blog/21-11-2006/review-logitech-g15-g7

FANTASTIC keyboard and mouse... Highlights:
Keyboard has backlit keys and a programming backlit matrix display + 18 programming keys with 3 different modes.
Mouse is VERY sensitive with Teflon feet to reduce friction. Also has hot-swappable rechargeable battery cells. The USB base unit charges the "other" battery.

If anyone else is a digg-whore like me, I'd appreciate the Digg There is a yellow digg-like icon at the bottom of the article on my site.

There is also an article about how the Logitech MX5000 article sucks.

I thought I'd post this in case anyone was thinking of buying one... So if you're still thinking, BUY ONE!!!

If my mouse has more than 2 buttons and a scroll I get confused.
So whats the mini LED screen for?

Well currently it's just showing an animated close and the date/time. But you can run custom apps on it built using an API (I think). It comes with a few others like a stopwatch, music display (compatible with iTunes, Media Player, WinAmp, Real Audio and a few others), a system status (RAM + CPU Usage) and a couple of others which were kinda useless.
My mate is writing a Java API wrapper to allow you to write a Java app which uses the JNI (Java Native Interface) to control the panel. Should be cool!

The other use the screen has is that games can take over it and use it as a mini-hud (like for weapons or a chat log).

EDIT:
Just found a sourceforge app called myLCD. Example applicatiosn for integrating with WinAmp and other usefull ones like a bandwidth monitor!
