hi, i whant to no how i would set up collision for a terrain and a few buildings. note that theas buildings are seperate x files and thhe terrain is a hieghtmap, pleas help me i am very new to codeing and just got the grasp after a long time. also what i whant to no is would theas be easyer that having it all in one x file

It would probably be easier to set up collision for 1 object. However, Im not sure, but i think it would work better if you seperately put collision for different objects.

look for sparky's dll on dll board and look at the example or wait for WORLD to inlcude collision if your lazy

If you use sparky's dll it is no more difficult having the world as separate objects, since you would just assign them all the same collision group. Sparky also was kind enough to make examples of how to use his dll. It is the easiest way to apply collision to a game which I know of, and it also works very well.

when you download the dll you get the tutorials with it in the zip
