I'll probably eat a little turkey... but a lot of ham. Really if I was alone I'd probably eat pepperoni pizza (attached is a picture of the pizza I made from scratch last Friday). I love pork in all forms especially pepperoni.

Yah, its going to be a slow day. But full of food. No I need to clean the house for our family to be able to see the floor.

Well technically the only thing that's "scratch" is the crust. It's Hormel pepperoni... best tasting brand I've found.

http://www.hormel.com/brands/brandview3.asp?id=54&catitemid=4

About a month ago I did think about making my own pepperoni... I wanted to make one big pepperoni that's big enough to cover the entire pizza. I don't think it's possible or would even cook right on the pizza.

Well you may not as a nation, No reason you can't make an absurd amount of food and get your friends and family together personally. We all give thanks for different reasons, pick a reason and get the party started.

I love thanksgiving because unlike so many other holidays (Christmas, easter, etc) basically everyone celebrates it here.

We have leg ham at Christmas, cut straight from the bone. It's fantastic. No Thanksgiving here so it's just another meal, however, there was an american lady who walked into the butcher near where I live and ordered a 6kg Turkey - it cost around $97!

Heh aroung this time we usually get turkey about .38 to .58 per pound (I think 6kg is about 13.2 lbs so so around $8.00 for that turkey here)
