Yo.
I'm not even near doing this kind of effect in my little engine yet (im forcing myself to put off all the "fun" stuff until its more of a game must have stamina... must have stamina..) but whilst im taking breaks im always thinking ahead to what kind of cool things I could possiably do with it. One thing thats resting pretty deeply on my mind atm is bump mapping. Is it possiable to apply some sort of bump mapping to a dbp matrix? It would be nice for say gravel sections of the terrain or anything really, grass ectra. I have no idea how bump mapping works (well, I have a few guesses based off greyscale images..) or anything - if its possiable to do this to a matrix can anyone point me in the right direction? I dont even know how to do it to models/objects for that matter, so any info is cool

Its not currently possible in DBpro to bumpmap a matrix, only objects for now. Though i believe it has been stated the special effects commands like bump mapping will be appliable to matrice in future patches.

Specs:- 1GHZ athlon, Radeon8500, 192mb ram, winxp
