Hello
In a bit of a moral dilemma,
got an email from a german company:
Hi,
I'm an editor of Germanies No. 1 gaming monthly for kids titled BRAVO SCREENFUN.
Every issue our mag comes with cover disc which includes demos, tools, trailers and
great freeware games. Therefore I would like to ask you if we may place your
well-designed game "Yahtzee 123" on our cover disc issue 1/07 (will be released
December 20th; number of copies: about 160.000). If you want we could also install a
link to your site on our DVD user interface.
Please write me whether you allow this distribution as soon as possible.
Thank you very much,
Timo, SCREENFUN Germany
www.screenfun.de
which sounds all well and good, but then upon looking at their website, I was very surprised/shocked to see this magazine for 'kids' seems to have articles and photographs about sex techniques, something I find entirely inappropriate. Being half german, I understand germans have a more 'relaxed' view on such topics (Just watch TV in germany and you'll understand
), but I would not really like my game to be associated with such material.
So I'm thinking of rejecting this request on 'moral' grounds...what would you do?
Robin
ps. One of my games was featured on a magazine CD before so it's not like I'm passing on a new achievement..
