For Christmas My mum and dad are thinking of buying me a xbox 360 for christmas, on play.com i found xbox 360 premium console with gears of war or xbox 360 premium console with call od duty 3http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3271050/XBox_360_Premium_Console_+_Call_of_Duty_3/Product.html. i was think of buying the 1st one with call of duty 3 as a single game and that would cost about £309.

Well thats what i think could you tell me your opinion

Call of duty is one of the best shooter's ever imho but then i have CoD 2 on pc so the mp rules

but it's up to you if you like ww2 fps's or not

i do like ww2 fps's, but i was thinking of buying the "gears of wars" one and buy call of duty seperatly, so then it would be cheaper

Well if your parents dont mind you getting an 18 video game, get Gears of War, its freakin fantabulas much better than COD 3 imo.
Its already got 1000s of votes for game of the year, and editors choice on Gamespot (and IGN I think) its up to you, but you know what you should get

Gears of War! I don't really like GoW's multiplayer, but that is what I have CoD3 for.

Get neither! Easiest way to make the decision

Personally I would go for Call of Duty 3, but Gears of War has some kickarse visuals, but then I haven't really looked at Call of Duty 3, I mean I've gone and put Call of Duty 2 on my Christmas list and the PS2 vers. of CoD 3 But playing Call of Duty 2 before, I find it is very well put together and good fun for killing those 'Gerry Bast***s' But I've never tried GoW, so if there are PC demos of GoW and CoD 3 I'd download them and compare. I almost said try and get the 360 demos, but then my brain kicked in

I'm a huge fan of the COD games, so I'd say go with COD3, it's a shame there isn't a PC version.

I'd recommend Call of Duty 3, and then rent Gears of War.
While GOW is an amazing looking game and quite fun, because of the game design replay value is fairly small unless you're a gamer who has to have all of the achiements from a game.

Multiplayer doesn't hold a candle to a good few rounds of Unreal Championship 2 or Halo 2... which you can pick both up at Game for a £10.

CoD3 has a far more in-depth story. Looks great and will take a while to complete; GOW you can do in a night.

I haven't played a better multiplayer game than Halo 2.
If it were me I would pick Gears of War.
