First of all sorry if this is a crosspost, but I feel like I have a valid reason to also ask you guys here.

Here goes: With FPS Creator (I'm also a proud owner of that package) when you would distribute the game people who play the game multiplayer can host a game and other players can log in to that game.

However, a lot of people (like myself) have a home server, so if I host one from my other PC's it will be an intern game and outside people on the internet couldn't join.

Now my question is simple: Would it be possible for me to write a small server app in DarkBasic 1.13 classic for my server machine so other people can log in from the outside, and I can join also from an internal IP?

So if someone else has a server machine too when i distribute my FPSC game people can also choose to run a small game server app on their server machine and just frag away for everyone from the outside internet IP's.

Who knows you could even build in options to ban people who are being obnoxious or you could even make some swell server scripts?

Hope you folks catch my drift here, it seems to me like a sweet idea. Perhaps someone has already made one????
