Hello, i have been developing an editor for my FPS called Chavkill. I just wanted to share with u guys how far i have got, and hopefuly get some feedback.

Features so far:
Layer creation - Diffrent layers for diffrent default heights. Makes things more organised
Wall creation - Walls can be easily created, and are automaticly allined with the grid.
Floor creation - Floor tiles can be created, in allignment with the grid
Material editor - Materials are not simply textures, they are a mixture of textures, Effects, and physical properties
for physics engine use. Every single entity can have a material applied to it.
Lighting - All shaders requireing light, will get its infomation from the lights placed within the world.
Custom primitives - All the main primitive types can be created, for use with static geometry, when the standard wall
and floor functions are not enough.

These are only some of the features from which i hope to get done

Features to do:
CSG - Create holes in walls, for doors etc.
Rigid bodys - Create bodys which will react with dark physics.
Joints - Joint two or more objects together, using dark physics.
Particle Emmiter - Place a particle emmitter in the world, again controled by DP.
Vehicle - Create and place vehicles into the world (DP).
Cloth - Place coths into the world (DP)
Ragdoll - Place ragdolls into the world, and specifiy wheter they are characters or not (DP).
Sound - Place sounds into the world.
Scripting - Create a script, which can trigger sounds and other actions. This is partly done(Scripting engine done
now i just need to put it into the editor)

Here are some screenshots:
Wall creation:

Floor creation:

Layer creation:

Material (Parralax floor):

Material again, but for wall (Oblivion style bricks)

Custom shapes:

I hope u like it. Please give feedback people.

The house my Chav cousin lives in is like a castle. Does that count?

Lol - the areas you see are just very basic test levels, make in a matter of seconds. Infact one of my ideas for chavkill, is that you are defending all the non-chavs, from the chavs using medieval weapons(I like medieval stuff).

Anyways thanks for ur comments so far. Keep them comming!

Really nice work. The Material (Parralax floor) shot is very impressive.

I assume this will generate the code for the level in the source. Out of curiosity what is the FPS of your editor vs a loaded object level?

The FPS is around 60 in the editor at the moment, as for in game, i havent really tested it yet.
