This is a really simple model,in two parts.Unzip from your desktop,you will find the entities in entitybank/powercon.Boxdestroyscript in the scriptbank.

Place the first model,powercont1 in the map and insert the boxdestroyscript in the ai destroy box,in the ifused box type powercont2.
Place the second model powercont2 in exactly the same postion and set spawn at start to no.

When you shoot the power console it should be destroyed and appear damaged.I have been trying to get a smoke decal to spawn at the same time as the destroyed model,but as this is a scipting problem I'll ask in another forum.As usual you can do what you want with this.

Yay! More people are twigging onto the possibility of fake geomod.

Why not add a debris reference in the FPE of the normal monitor (use the metal reference 3. That way you'll get a few particles bouncing around when you kill it.

Smoke decal when destroyed script



you need the decal to have the same entity name as the destroyed console, that way, it will also be effected by the ifused command.
