Is there any way to do this? i.e player is in 20 units of object and has a weapon equipped do this if not then wait until player has weapon. Apologies if this has been asked already.

I don't understand your question. Do you mean that if a player is 20 units away from something the enemy detects your weapon and shoots you? This is impossible for all i know.

www.mortarstudios.tk and www.freewebs.com/supahsfpscstuff

btw i asked rich to change my name from Supah Gamer so dont mix!

if player is x units from an object with a weapon equipped, then path "a" happens if the player is x units from an object with out a weapon then it shouldn't do anything. I've played with ifweapon= but with no luck, course I haven't master fps scripting yet

do you mean that if you have a weapon, the enemy will come after you?

so what's the job?

basically, actually it will spawn enemies, but I only want that to happen if the player has a weapon in hand.

have you figured out if there is a script for it? it sounds like it could make a pretty cool game.

no such luck, I think I got it to do it with ifweapon=0 but that makes the ai spawn with out the weapon. I would have thought changing it to ifweapon=1 would work.
