Well, this is the silenced luger I told you about in the "Free Chainsaw" thread, at least a preveiw of it. I have already made it, with Milkshape, but still need to texture it. I am still fairly new to moddeling (It just clicked in my head suddenly 2 days ago, after I read this tutorial: http://www.3d-resources.com/milkshape_3d_tutorials/modelling_a_gun_tutorial.html )
But I do not think it's all that difficult. Here is a screeny of the mesh:

Hey man take your time, gun making is an art no matter if it's on the computer or in real life, so enjoy it. Ask Jon how long he worked on his Deagle. If you are satisfied with your luger that's fine, but if you're rushing on it, slow down. Use reference pictures, and strive for perfection on both the model and textures. Also, many gun modelers choose not to make triggers, so don't feel pressured to do so.

I personally don't use tutorials for any programs or designing objects because I feel like if it is gpoing to be my model, I want it entirely from my head, and a reference photo, I think its fun to put objects togethers out of the standard primatives.

He said, "You drink when you're lonely." No I drink when I want!
He said, "You'll never be sober." Sure. Why would I want that?

hmm, I think your right. I only worked 4 hours on this gun. I really am not going to attempt the trigger again. It is a pain in the (nice word that will get mod edited). I think i'll slow down on my next one, but for now, I can't seem to get the gun to show up, or the texture to work right. I have all the files though.
Here, maybe one of you people can get it to show up. I'm kind of puzzled, as i have scaled it and positioned it like other guns you see in fpsc.Heres the files: The gamecore folder, the .3ds gun file, the jpg. texture, and the ms3d model. I am now going to try to redo this weapon, but until I finish, here is this model to play with:

So, who would like me to remake this gun? I'm sure I can tweak and improve it. Oh, is there any good texturing and animating tutorials for milkshape out there by the way? I can't seem to find many good ones.

I made a tutorial on how to animate weapons using Milkshape.
It is in a sticky at the top of this forum.
While it is possible to UV map and texture with Milkshape I usually do that externally.

I have been kind of busy, I'm gonna start working on my gun later today.

I poured Spot remover on my dog. Now he's gone.
