Hi everyone i was reading a post i can't remember which one and some one had said somthing like is a shame you can't choose which map to play in multi-player mode. Well that is now a thing of the past because i have just finished Multi-Map Launcher 1.0

All the program does is take the executable's file path and launch the process it's self. But there is one catch. Anyone who want's to use this program is going to need to post here first telling me how many maps there will be And the INSTALLED file path of each maps exe file.

Unfortunatly th UI is a bit dull at the moment but it will get better as i release future versions.

Here is a screenie

wouldent it be easier to allow reading from a file? or maybe an input box for the path?

it seems like your making it a bit more complicated than it needs to be.

@ Bullshock2

Yeah probebly but this was the quickest way i could think of i have just started programing and am playing around to see what i can do.Plus Using an input box requires more programing to which leads to me doing more debbuging and so on.

So if annyone want's it Post the details below

How many maps will there be

What Will be the INSTALLED path for each .exe file

What will be the name of each map

Your Name

Theme sci-fi,wild-west ect.

eh..i could do that with an htm document in 3 mins. (and vb too...)

just get menu creator. google it. its free with limited features.
it lets u drag and drop buttons where you want them, etc. and those buttons launch any kina file.

sorry if I am stealing this thread...

@aron g no i appriciate letting others know that there is an alternative application to mine but i searched the top 5 results and they all require you to do some stuff your self.

i am offering

none of your input required just install it on your machine and distribute with the installer.

Ps i can now put more features in the program like a custom SplashScreen.

plus any i make for anyone WILL NOT say alphatek map-starter....

it will be yourgamenameyourdefinedname (map launcher, level chooser.) although i would not mind credits!

This is for anyone who want's everything doing for them or does not want to download programs which you have to learn ect.

PS can some get Explosys into this or code master there tips could be vital.

Hi aganin here is a Themed download which also includes more advanced features,

for anyone who might want this software, i have found one major bug, it could be with the program or FPS.

When you build a game and try to either create a desktop shortcut or use this Map starter it won't load you just get a black screen is it because i am using V1.02 at the moment?

Visit www.alphatek.co.nr for more great software and games!
