FPSC Classic Scripts / Destroying characters

Questions about killing off charcters have been asked many times before, so i have to thank antimatter games for making it alot easier:


The script runs well but when animation 20 is meant to play, the character freezes. This happens with every character, so i tried a variation:

This resulted in animation being looped endlessly, and for some reason not getting to run leavecorpse.fpi (and me not getting a corpse, more or a clown).

Can someone help me? Is the script the problem or is it just FPSC?

I would help you but I don't have a clue.
You might try e-mailing Brummel (Antimatter Games),Airslide or Butter fingers and ask them.
Or you can wait for Les Horribres to answer and hope for the best.
Maybe Uman can pop in and answer this.
It may just be a slow day.
I hope you get what you need to figure it out.

I'll help anyway,
The problem isn't in antimatters script.

That code is fine.
Maybe that's why no one answered, because they think this is user error.
Good news, its not your fault.

The problem is in the destroy script.
You are using leave corpse I bet, right?



Try the default fadecorpse and you will see antimatter's code work flawlessly.
I haven't played with it, but I'm sure I can get it to work with other detroys if you can't.
However, now that you know where the problem really is, you can probably work it out for yourself.
