The old thread http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=88894&b=8 , the reason i made a new one is because i didnt want to bumb such an old thread...

i am still working on my game, i'm just lazy. Well i have finished the weapons animations, combat system, ai is fully working (thanks to xynochythe) and currently i'm just trying to make a few more areas with enemies so this game wont be to small.

I'm going to write here what i have finished and what to do next:

:finished
:wip

Combat system
Ai
Collision
Movement
Level up
Close the map so you cant walk out of it anymore

:stores to buy potions and stuff..
:finish underworld
:Make more areas

Here is a screenie of the dunegon thingy i am making, it will probably be called "the dunegon of bugs". Guess why i picked such a lovely name..

The elder scrolls games had books.. well.. i have this. there will be more of those around. This is inside the dunegon thingy stuff you saw earlyer.

ok then, just showing more angles inside this thing. but hey, what is this on the floor there? might it be a secret passage to the dunegon?

ok, just the stairs down into the dunegon..

the thing you see when you have come down the stairs

and there it is... it's ugly isnt it?

Ok, here is the awesomely cool "Abandoned tower". But beware, for there are evil spirits near it.

using some models from darkmatter because i'm lazy..

This dungeon will be extremely hard to get through, nearly imposible. and at the end will be the best item in the whole game.. havent figured out though what it will give

Ill post updates in this post when they are availible...

New stuff

I was trying to model some new weapons.. i dont think i'll use these in my game but i am going to make one or two more swords / axes that will..

And i made the menu. But the cool thing is, i didnt have to look at any tutorials or code snippets to do the menu so i'm proud even though it looks like crap.. hehe

Arrow keys + enter = menu..

ok, big updates, i tried out the trial of dbpro and basicly just used the same code of this game to test it out in dbp and it is holy f*ckin amazing how it's different so i am really depressed now because i dont have dpro when i want it , the game runs at 10 - 22 fps in dbc, and it is at 50 - 60 smooth in dbpo. i will finish this game, but i will not release it. i just really really dont want to. and then i am probably going to make some other game with that darn dbc... i wish i had dbp...

i will not buy dbp any time soon though, because i did buy dbc and the enhancement pack and i am not going to throw it away..

Isn't the electronic version of DBPro just $50 (US) this month? That's not much. Get it for Christmas, or for whatever holiday you celebrate.

And then sell DBc and/or the enhancements.

I got DBC before I got Pro, and do I regret the extra cost? Yes, but nothing can be done about that, besides selling it, or, as I did, giving it to a friend for free.
