is here a script, or could someone make a script, so if a character dies, you fail the game?

yes! an npc!

He's the one who gives you your assignment, and if you kill him, you fail.

EDIT: Candle_ theres a slight problem with the script. when you kill the person it exits the game. is there a way to make it so it goes to the "Game Over" screen?

you could take the easy way out and give him like 10000 health or something like that.

Did you try it in a game or in the editor?
In the editor it will just end the game.

edit;;;;;;;;
I guess it does just end the game. I don't know what to tell you them.
Maybe someone else knows a better way?
You could flash a picture with game over I think and then end the game?

Good news , this one works like you want in a game.
Will quit the game, give the game over message and start the window with the new game buttons etc.

Can you please just include the
buttons in your posts?
It makes it easier for us on dial-up and the ones who use zip vs. rar.

Thanks

Quote: " zip vs. rar."

Well those of us who are able to extract files from five major competitors (zip, rar, ace, pak, gz) don't care. And since the extraction 'program' is only 1.1 megs you don't waste space with all that other 'crap'. Unfortunatly, no one cares anyways.

Wisemen are hard to find, they are tarnished by sayings and quotes that are not of their true nature.

Can it be fixed so the "New Game" menu don't appear, you just have to restart the level?
