FPSC Classic Scripts / is there any way to climb trees?

is there any way to climb trees? not just goin straight up. . he must look esactly like he is climbing a tree.

I would think this is more to do with animation, I guess if u have a generic tree structure and animation...i guess it could be achieved.
I really dont know.

There certainly is a way to climb trees, just as the player can climb stairs or ladders which have a slight angle. As long as the trunk is not straight up the player can climb/jump up to a branch. Making the trunk come up at a slight angle would allow this. If you add branches within jumping distance, it would be even easier.

The ladder thingy is fixed?
How the heck did I miss that?

Yeah the suggestion of using the climb animation for the tree was a good one, but I like the limb-jump too.
I think the ladder climb (animation 10) would look more like what he wants though.

ok.. but suppose if a tree has a hanging over the ground like a banyan tree then can the player just climb the tree with the help of the hanging branch only? if possible how can we do that , like if the player goes neer the branch and presses enter and then he is locked with the branch and then he can clibm with the help of hanging branch ?

You're thinking too much. Just use a tree with a slanted trunk and/or low branches and the player will be able to climb it.
