I am working on the lighting for one of my games and I have lights that are on layer two and they are showing up on layer 0. When I shorten the light range, the lights barely light the area.Is there any script that will permit the light to only shine on one layer? Or is that beyond the scope for now?

To my knowlege, there is no way to block the lights between layers. You have to lessen the range and add more lights to completely light the area. It is best practice to leave a one layer space between levels.

Best.

invisible textures?

Even if that doesn't work, you can put make the lights with a floor seg blocking it, then replace the universe.dbo in the file...

Xplosys is right. It's best to leave a one layer space between different levels.
Not only will this help with this problem but it will allow you to use different floors and ceilings and staircases function much better in my opinion.
Just keep tweaking with the lighting and be patient.
You'll figure it out.
