YOU MONSTER nah charity is always good, good work! I nearly got assaulted when I told a guy I didn't have any spare money to give. I didn't have any but I usually do give them coins.

Everyone should do this, it's good for the receiver, and good for yourself.

My children (2, 7 and 9 years old), give to the "shoebox appeal", to a child their own age. You fill a shoebox with small presents, and it goes to children in orphanages in various parts of the world. Giving them things like pens, paper and books as well as small toys gives them the chance to get an education.

Do you mean operation christmas child? (I think that's the name)

While i was in rural India i actually helped pass out these shoe boxes for 2 days. So be assured they do actually get there

[edit] oh, now that i read your post again it seems you are talking about something to do with orphanages. Well, either way it's similar

Ah, they have that here at a church I play at, one family gave out something like 65 shoe boxes. Good stuff.

Nice one Indi, very thoughtful. The older consoles make great gifts for 'less privileged' kids - games are very cheap so they'll get a lot from it.

I just hope you didn't wrap it up inside a PS3 box or other newer system's box No, but that's very kind of you. PSX was the one of the best system ever. I remember getting mine. I was so happy.
