For the core FPSC and DBPro products - 2. They have a couple of freelancers working for them to produce addons like DarkAI.

Depends how you define "working for". There are many people involved in Dark AI, Styx, Extends, ConvSEO, Beta Testers, TYTT, Driving series, website management, newsletter authors, and so on. But not everyone is a full-time employee.

As a company we have 8 full-time staff (all of which are developers except Rick, who develops new business, and Simon who develops awesome 3D work) and we then have a decent number of freelancers such as the talented Mr. Batvink up there, among others. I don't count the DLL authors (Styx, ConvSEO, eXtends, etc) because they're 3rd party developers and don't actually work for us under any contract.
