Alright, i want to learn how to make games so i can advance in my career when i finish school and go to collage. So i would only want to make 3d games, so should i start out learning functions in 2d or 3d?

2d can give you a heads up in how the language would be structured,
3d would eventually be easier if you have 2d aspects under your belt.
A 3d game is a combination of 3d elements and 2d elements so its a natural progression.

Ah, thank you. I web coded before and i understand basic codes, so maybe i will learn faster than i thought
