Darkest Island is the story of a man named Daniel who wakes up in a bloody hospital bed on a remote island with no knowledge of how he got there. A girl's voice echoes in his mind, begging for him to come and rescue her, and promising to help him get off the island. Daniel finds that this hospital is actually a research facility, and the inhabitants are no longer human. These zombie-like creatures are not the only enemies that Daniel makes. Soon he has armed soldiers hunting him as well. The story of the facility unfolds as Daniel makes his way into the dark center of the island.

looks great Luke!! All the best for completing it soon!

btw, is everything in the game from model packs or have you done custom stuff too? Am asking because everything looks so good and life-like & I don't have a single model pack.

very clean textures and level design... no unnecessarily large rooms and myriad of looooooong corridors...

looks good Luke...

Looks good Luke. One thing though that image you use in the corner of that splash screen can get you into trouble. I'm almost positive the ERSB hasn't rated your game yet and thats their copyrighted image(notice the r in the corner by the big "M").

I just made a similar deal for my game but changed it enough that it's definately my image, yet has the exact feel of the original.

Thanks for the tip Locrian! I will have to make a new custom "M" logo as well.

Hmmm...looks good but laggy, but that might be the recorder your using.

Yeah its the recorder. It drives me nuts. The game runs at around 27-30 fps most of the time, and occasionally drops down to 24 or 25 fps, but not very often.

I'd like to see this game finished, because it has a good sounding story and creative level design(I haven't seen the video, I'm going by the screenies.)

You don't have to be insane to answer my questions, but it helps
