Just spent lunch hour beating the crap out of colleagues on Wii Sports Boxing.

Any one else get Wiis?

I think boxing is the best. Dodging is so cool.

Mine is downstairs waiting to be unwrapped (along with a new Toshiba Regza 32" LCD TV!) It arrived this morning, but the extra Wiimote didn't turn up (thanks Amazon!) so the wife and I can only try single player stuff at the moment.

Can't wait until I can get a classic controller, an HDMI cable and the online service works (unless it does already in the UK? I thought we had to wait until next year to download games?)

Did you guys re-order your wii's? My mum ordered my brother one, and one for me, but you can only have 1 pre-order, so I wont get one.

Iam going to see if I can get one on boxing day, in the shops.

I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered. The Argos computer phoned me on Wednesday and read out that it will be delivered on Friday, don't trust it though

I ordered mine through Amazon (yes I was one of those lucky enough to get my order in within those golden 7 minutes). However I noticed that they emailed saying they would have them on sale again today between 3pm and 4pm as they had received new stock.

So tell your Mum to get on there

Boxing is fun, but bowling is even better I especially like all the practice and fitness modes in Wii Sports. There's a great bowling one where they keep stacking up more and more pins, up to around 100, where you try to get strikes. The physics system is great!

Kids these days. I didn't even get an N64 until about 4 years ago. And that was after begging my parents and not getting any other presents, and having it be a family present. My parents know how to make me appreciate my presents.

Lol, don't want it to seem like I'm trolling but I think you can thank good ol' karma for that since you posted this in another thread...

No offence but i find that selfish tbh (and that's coming from a gamer still in school , taking gcse's) why not just share and play mp? , that's a wii that someone else could enjoy that has 0 atm so yea..

I got mine, with Zelda. Just as well that was the only game I was really after: would you believe that the only Wii titles available in Portugal on release were (or should I say was) Zelda?????

Yep, no Wii Play, no Red Steel, no Excite Trucks... you could have any game with your Wii, as long as it was Zelda.

Just beggars belief....

[edit] - Is anyone also miffed that Nintendo keep shipping their consoles with a crap composite cable rather than just launching it with a RGB SCART? This is especially bad since this time around I cannot use the GameCube RGB Cable... and the Wii RGB Cables are not available over here yet.

I have vague plans for World Domination

Remember to be thankful for getting one at all. Some of us will be Wii-less for who knows how long.

That is, if I ever do get one. They might be sold out for ages.

And I'll be one of those wii-less people.

Zelda isn't multiplayer, so obviously you're not greedy for wanting to play it by yourself

I only have Trauma Centre for my Wii (not including the three VC games I purchased and of course Wii Sports)--- just waiting for Wario Ware in January and Mario Galaxy in the spring.

I love my wii. Was lucky to get one. Every time I went to the store they were sold out or I came too late to wait in line for one.

Oh well. I bought zelda and gave it to my parents to give to me for Christmas and not going to buy any games till the holidays are over(not including VC games). Right now I am liveing on VC games. Bomberman 93 and Legend of Zelda and hopefully toe jam and earl comes out this monday.
Funny part about zelda is that i remember where all the heart pieces were and most of the secrets. At level 5 with the master sword at the moment lol.

By the way any one want to trade wii numbers?

I got one, but once I beat zelda, I kind of just abandoned it. Which is good, becuase I got it taken away for grades anyway, so no suffering from wiidraw

Yes, I played it when I was a kid, and didn't understand what to do. I also tried the Xbox version and found it to be rather boring.

All I remember, is that you had to collect presents, then go to an elevator to get to the next level. If you fell off the edge, you had to do the previous level again.
