for some reason any image with a gradient on it looks like crap in db... i dunno it looks the the gradients are in thick bars

is it the type of image im usin?
this is in dbclassic 1.13

run this in exclusive mode as compared to windowed mode

what does that mean?
lol sorry thats a real newb question but im not running my program in a window if thats what you mean

my problem is actually in images that i made that have gradients in them
but ill try ur code to see if it helps me

I think your colour settings in the Projects -> Settings area is set wrong. I got this problem too.

i dont know for both of those

ill check my settings, and the pallete... no idea its just a blue bar thats shaded

in the editor under settings on the project manager window is a way to set windowed or exclusive mode.

try exclusive and set your desktop to at least 16bit

eg: 1204 x 768 x 16 instead of 32.
