You may be better with this method,no script required.

Or can you not shorten the life of the entity?Pretty sure this can be done.If you require a certain kind of death, may require re-animating of the character.

Noob slap me for bringing up this thread if need be, but I found an extremely easy way to do this. If all you want is a dead/sleeping corpse laying on the ground just copy and paste both the .x character you want, and its texture into the user folder in entity bank. Then just make a new entity out of it, make it an cloth object, box, static and so forth. The only down sid eot this is that you have the character laying there like it has rigor mortis. Pic of dead guy.

*edit* I wasn't clear on how to do this, just use the MakeEntitiesFromXFiles program from TGC.

Those would work for a scifi game.

Well, maybe you could just retexture them with your textues? Prolly might not fit right, but its worth a try...

The body, however, will sink BELOW the floor so you need to get it to die above the floor."

Oh and candle... I KNEW it loaded streaming TV but from what source? It looks like you mearly load WMP and feed it the source.

Yes it is loading a windows plugin .
It can load any media type file to play in the player like asx or wmv, mms . can't play realplayer files.
I don't have a pluging for realplayer.
You can add and delete links from the database in the edit window.
http://www.byutv.org/streaming/byutv250b.asx that would be a link and how it looks.

[off topic]Did I see David Bowie on your avatar, Candle?[/off topic]
[on topic]Try making him static, then play with his angle. That should do it. Or maybe just retexture the existing SciFi "corpse1" entity.[/on topic]

Oh, damn, that reminded me. Sorry I haven't been able to get around too it. I usually only make 1 or 2 bodies when I need 'em, It gets somewhat tedious doing a whole bunch. Would it be okay if I just sent you the models and you set up the FPE's (you can use the ones from the dead body example packs I posted for a base)?
