What do you mean a windows repair?
I tried system restore, I searched Microsoft, I tried basically everything I can think of.
Any useful help, anybody?
Thanks again.

You need to run Chkdsk as it told you.

Double-click the My Computer icon, right-click on the C drive and select properties, click on the Tools tab, and then click the Check-now button. It will probably tell you that the drive will be check at the next reboot - if so, reboot.

@IanM: And so I quote myself.

Quote: "I have run the chkdsk like it said"

If it tells me to do it obviously I would have tried it, but it says its scheduled to run next time I boot up, but it dosent run.

a system restore does not constitute to windows repair.

you stick the disk in, run it, and then let itdo its stuff for 40 yrs, before it asks you "do you want to repair the dodgy windows install?"

Ok, maybe I should simplify this: Go to run (or do Windows Key + R) and then type 'chkdsk'. Press OK/Enter.

Kerching. It will check the disk.

EDIT: If it complains about the volume being in use, then deactivate any heavy-usage apps (e.g. AV scanners) or anything that would require low-level disk access. You definitely can run it while Windows is running.

Already did, loads of times, didnt do much though.
Maybe I should mention it said the f peramiter was not specified and it runs in read only mode, don't work though.
