Hi guys, I am fairly new, but with a bit of copy and pasting I've managed to get an animated hellboy model (.x exported from 3DS MAX using panda) walking round a terrain, rather nicely.

I'm at work now so I can't post a screenshot 'til later, but I have the following problem :

He has no textures, as I'm keeping him simple for now.
However, the shading on his body looks terrible, and very 'blocky' if that makes sense.

Does anyone have a nice simple tutorial on how to light a very simple outdoor scene to look right, and what other effects/shaders i can add to a game character in DBPro to make them look 'shaded' correctly.

Thanks

Danny

You could set your object's smoothing to 100

And changing the ambient light to about 50 will smooth things down abit.
