Here is a handgrenade that is tired of life

Modeling and texturing the object in Cinema 4D was the fun part, now I have to reduce everthing to make it low-poly and FPSC-ready

I don't know yet if it should be a character, ammo or a weapon.

a charachter would be cool

like the FPSC skull; exept make a script so that he blows up if he comes within 40 units of you dunno if explosions r possible, but it would be kwl

good work

Nice! You could make that into a good quality grenade model if you remove the eyes!

ya, a character would be better, cus you wouldn't be able to see the eyes if it was a weapon

I new that this was going to get asked.

Nice model by the way. I love the texture, one of the better ones that I have seen here. This has made me want to get in to modelling again. Time to dust off ye old program box and tablet....

Keep it up man!

RF

Makes me wanna pull the pin to put him out of his misery, really nice work.
I would normally make the low poly model, then meshsmooth it to get the higher poly version, this means the low poly is always accessible, you can use the high poly to produce a normal map for detailing.I find artefacts forming when trying to reduce high poly models.

@rolfy

yes, you are right. maybe i'll have to start it all over and take the high poly model as a reference.

I am currently working on a model pack. It will be called: The Secret Entities and it will be produced by Swiss KGB (Swiss Komputer Games Bureau). As you can imagine, Swiss KGB is a divison of ONAWECOM ("Oh, Not Another WE COMpany" ) and if I won't be able to produce enough high-quality models, that I can sell for a acceptable price, I will give these models away for free.

So stay tuned and chances are good, that you will get them for free

I like the eyes on the grenade.

BTW like RF said earlier if you post anything that looks even halfway decent somebody will almost always ask if it's free.

I could see this chasing me down a hallway.
Nice work.
