Why would scankeycodepressed, as used in xplosys' nightvision work...but at the same time when i try to use it to display a HUD it seems as if its bypassing the condition and displays the HUD anyway. i read back through the forums and i see a few old ones that talk about having v103. I have new v104 could this be the problem?

when you create the hud, make sure the hudhide (or was it huddisplay?) command is before the hudmake command.

well i did say that the code is exactly the same as the night vision but anyways....

as you can see i pattern the definition off of any standard HUD-displaying script and with the exception of plrdistwithin, it is the same condition as in the night vision script. but it only honors the state and plrdistwithin conditions.
