Sometime it seem appropriate to enter moving parts in a level (a.e. a car or a train or simply a robot moving by). I tried to setup those objects as characters and then to set them to a path using follow.fpi, but the objects are positioned somewhere above the ground.

Can somebody tell me how I get the object to the ground. The objects are .x-format and appaer to be on ground in 3d-editors.

thx

Don't make it a character. Simply right click on it, set PHYSICS to OFF, IMMOBILE to NO, and set main script to People\Follow.fpi. Now make some waypoints and tada!
