Hey, I just got my new PC! I waited all day, and it finally came at 5:34 PM. I'm downloading Counter-Strike Source through Steam right now, and installing Oblivion. It's very stormy right now, so I'm just hoping the power doesn't go out. I got a nice bit 19" LCD, and a Media Center Extender is coming in the mail soon. I'll see if I can get a picture soon.
My specs are:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz
1022MB RAM
244 GB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 (2 GPUs SLI)
SigmaTel Audio Card

It is absolutely huge compared to my 15" I really don't like Windows XP Media Center Edition though. Oblivion crashes, and Halo doesn't connect to the Gamespy server. I hope these things can be resolved.

Yes, mine is big compared to the last. I also have Media Center edition too. I got this PC not so long ago infact, a couple of weeks ago.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (2600Mhz)
2GB SDRAM DDR-2
320GB Hard Disc (7200 rpm)
HP Personal Media Drive
DVD Burner (DVD-RAM and dual layer -+R/-+RW 16/8 max)
NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE TurboCache "up to 512MB of video memory"
Interface FireWire IEEE 1394
TV Tuner Card (analogue and TNT)
15-in-1 Card Reader
High Definition Audio 7.1

The media drive is a pretty cool idea. It has various inputs which allow many means of transfering media onto the PC, even from an analogue video signal (yay!). I was pleasantly surprised when I realised I could transfer footage from the analogue camcorder to the PC.

Why? whats the difference between that and xp besides an optional front end and the lack of Active Directory?

I have fixed a lot of the things, but still get some issues loading CS-S and playing Oblivion.
