I'm attempting to use a transparent texture on a chracter for the hair. There appears to be a z buffer error on pixels that use transparency.

Is there any way to correct this so that underlaying polys of the character are drawn correctly (opaque)?

Thank you so much for your help rolfy!

Just thought I would post my results to help others here. I'm posting both the before and after pictures to illustrate the solution.

The before pic you can see the sorting / buffer error. This is caused by creating a single sided, unclosed shape. When placed on top of another shape and alpha applied creates transparancy through object.

This "After" pic shows the hair object closed and welded to the head, still needs some mapping work, but the transparancy clearly is working as intended.
