FPSC Classic Scripts / Creating a acitvate decal script need help

Well basicly im creating a script that when a switch is triggerd then it will activate my decal turning it on. Im using a basic decal but with this as the main script.

:state,activate=1:rundecal=2

and i tryed this one (just for lafs)and it still wont work

:state:activate=1,rundecal=2

does anybody have anyideas

Try reading the scripting tutorials because your syntax is wrong.

well, you have to actually specify a state, you can't just type the word state.

so

:state=1:activated=1:rundecal=2

(don't know if you realise but there are 6 different ways to run a decal, from rundecal=1 through to rundecal=6, they each do different things, so you'll need to pick the right one for your event!)

Alright how should i use this script.

I have put the script in the main section of the decal that i wanted.

Then i created a switch which had its name as my decal.

What should i do.
