Hey, I have 4 domains hosted on DreamHost. But I have been trying to register a domain for a gaming clan I am in, but when I go to the registration section, it shows a domain I killed, and not the new one. I tried to sign up on their forums, and never got the email with the password, and their email support is not responding, after 1 week. I'm stuck, and don't know where to go now. If anyone has had this problem, and knows how to fix it, please help. Thanks.

You should register your domain name through a 3rd party, like godaddy. Then put Dreamhost's server info in there. I'm currently hosting around 15 domain names at Dreamhost with no problems.

Ok, I'll try that. Thank you. I just really didn't want to do that with $144 from referrals.

I was about to sign up with dreamhost, since right now I can get free domain registration through them right now and save $10. Only probably I've had was their site telling me a domain was taken when it really isn't.

Maybe someone has registered the domain, but isn't hosting it yet? Happened to me once.

Never had any problems with Dreamhost tech support or anything they usually respond within 1 day...
