Hey guys, im getting a XPS M1210 anyone here own one? If so how do you like it? the GFX card how is it?

My wife is buying me one tomorrow (we don't care that it won't be here by x-mas) I'll take snap shots of it as well as give you people those long a waited pics of my new desktop that i said i'd uhhh....post a couple of months ago....

Any input on the 1210 would be nice thanks.....

Hehe...

Got mine about two months ago.
2Ghz Core duo
2GB Ram
100GB HD
256MB Geforce Go 7400
Webcam etc.

Runs like a dream, and it looks sweet too. I imagine you are getting the core 2 duo processor, which will be even faster, but I find on mine I'm able to run all the latest games on really nice settings. You won't be dissapointed with it!

Where are you buying it from?

Im getting it from my kiosk where i work (i sell dell computers), my boss said he'd give me his discount if i bought it.

The specs you set out are almost what im getting, im not getting that darn webcam or the 100gb hd im getting the 80gig (since i have a 500gig external). But i am getting the duo core 2 (since its standard) with the 4mb cache and all that jazz 2gigs memory etc.

Glad to hear that the 7400 is better then i thought it was. It is going to be used to travel between me and my friends houses so i don't have to carry a full tower case there, all i'll take is the labtop a bigger monitor maybe a mouse and keyboard and rock and roll. Oh yeah can't forget road trips.
