hi,i might get a vista os computer when it comes out.but i was wondering,will games like oblivion or tomb raider legend run on vista???

or will i have to wait for game developers to make vista compatible games??

XP games should run no difficulty on vista, just like 2000 games ran on XP. The real question is, Will it be able to run DOS/98 games? cuase I still wanna play DOOM 1 and 2, and the Leisure Suit Larry games from long ago.

Don't take it badly SteveJ.. that made me laugh and this would be something so easy to find on google.

But to answer the question, all my games (apart from the odd few really old ones, i.e. pre 2000) have worked - some requiring XP SP2 compatibility mode, some not. IIRC, DirectX9 is emulated, so you shouldn't worry about any of those games not working - recent ones that do have problems will hopefully be patched by the developers, such as Need For Speed Carbon for example.
