This creature lives deep,he will spit exploding projectiles at you from a distance, get in close enough and he will attack you with his horns, back far enough away and he will resume spitting at you.
These distances can be changed to suit your taste in the pitcrawler.fpi
Unzip from your desktop and the creature can be found in the entitybank pitcrawler folder.
When placing him in the editor use the enter key to ensure he sits correctly on the floor,he may get stuck otherwise, ensure you unzip to c: drive.
I believe I have sorted any previous probs if you got the old download try the new one posted here.
Originally released for non-commercial use,you can now use it any way you wish.

Wow that looks so cool. I will play with him/her thats for sure.

edit

It sits in one spot and jumps up and down?
The flaps took some of the jumping out , but it was jumping quite high.

I dont know what to say to that! I didn't give him/her any 'bits' so I guess it must be an 'it'.

WOW! What a great model! rolfy, you are superb!

I think the model doesn't behave as it should. It just lies on the floor and shakes up and down.
See also the posts of Candle_ and Blood Rush and Candle_'s movie.
The Creature is stuck somehow as you mentioned in your first post but it doesn't help if I place it correctly on the floor.

Sorry if he's not working correctly I,ll look into it right now.
In the meantime ensure he has the weapon, pitgun in the gamecore guns folder.
I may have missed something in the zip uploading new version now.

Here is a bat file to install the files for those that get the files installed right .
This install if you have the standard fpsc install ( c drive)

Once I got the files in the right places, I realised that this is brilliant! And I'm not just saying that. The scripts are clearly quite complex. Would I be allowed to make a new texture for it and use it in my upcoming project. Sorry if I'm coming on too strong here, but this is just too convenient to pass up. It is a free game that will be downloadable.

BTW, you should make more. A model pack full of obsure enemies and stuff. It's clearly something you have a knack for. Aren't I flattering

Would you kindly look away from the screen when you're in my presence?

Oh my GOSH rolfy! Lol, when I applied the melee script to it, i tested it and when i spawned it started mauling me and scared the CRAP! out of me...yes the melee script works fine, i think it might be the gun messin with it, because when you go into the has weapon menu the pitgun doesn't show as a selection (for me anyway). AWESOME JOB! GRATZ!

fire.wav
gunspec.txt
hud.x
vweap.x files in the guns\ww2\pitgun folder.

Wow, very nice! I like it, looks like a creature from another planet, great for scifi games. At least we've got an animal we can hunt now

Do you think cratures like giant spiders would work in FPSC also? I've been dying to have one. I've tried to make one myself a couple of times, but always ended up having trouble with the animations and getting it into FPSC.
