I'm trying to make a pong game. But I can't get the collision to work right. Here's the thing, i have the ball moving by typing in
move object left 3,0.07
and then to set the collision with the paddle i typed
if object collision (3,1) then move object right 3,0.14
That didn't work. It just bounced off a little and then went right back to going left.

By the way, how do i put source code on here?

at the bottom of this page type pong into the thread subject search box and choose the entire forum.
it will return many methods and many discussions regarding the subject.

to display your code wrap it into two tags [ c o d e ] your code [ / c o d e ]
remove the spaces between the characters to make it work.

I suggest you read it all, but your problem is covered specifically in the section entitled 'The Ball'.
