I made an IM and it doesn't send and receive messages, here is the code. DBP.

Right. How would he know if it would work or not when he stole it? And maybe someone coded it for him. He never said "yeah I stole it". He just said that he didn't code it.





I'm thinking that he either found this code somewhere where it was supplied for free, or someone gave it to him, and it doesn't work. He's just asking for help.

If this code was stolen, then I don't think the owner would appreciate his hard work just being taken away.

I implied he stole it, because he said he made the code. Using someone else's creation and saying you made it, in my book atleast, counts as stealing.

JSG, for future reference, next time simply say something like "I got this code from the codebase, but its not working...". That simple extra sentence at the beginning of your post makes a big difference, as I hope you can see, by what began to occur in the thread.
