Ironically, I never really finished any of the goals I had set from the last year, and some even from 3 years ago! Kind of makes me hit myself in the head and wonder what I've been doing. Either way, 2007 should be an exciting year for all of us I'm sure. Well then again, it'll be exciting if I can finally finish my projects. The important part though, is that I've yet to give up.

Okay, so lets list them, as many or as few as you like. What would you like to achieve this yer?

- Finish Normal map generator and release it publicly.
- Completly restructure Curved Basic
- Releaes my Particle Generator
- ***Finish my interpreter*** (This is my priority project right here)
- Complete a game for the current NVidia Competition.

Was anyone succuessful in completing their previous goals?

A book? I hate book. Book is stupid.

For this year i want to make an MMORPG in C++ and have it go commercial (and widely succsessfull i might add) with a budget of minus 2€.

Other than that i have some bigger projects in the works, like stage a coup in Sweden and put togheter a big whobbling couch made out of plastic strawberrys and sell it on ebay for 1 BILLION assault rifle bullets.

* Moral of the story......set realistic goals please

Happy new year, its been January for over an hour now.

My DB resolutions are.

-Complete a project, hopefully Shadow Behind the Leaves
-Put more dedication into my DBP hobbies where there is no studying needed
-Get a job and grab a new PC and Softimage|XSI 6 to help my DBP endeavours

Nice idea, but your current version is still the best, I've not found any other normal map generators that tickle my fancies

Still 1600 x 1200

My resolution for the new year is to get CodeSurge to a version 1.0. I think that's something I can manage.

Good performance is better than a good excuse.

I'm flying right on target. Time to start working on my next goal:

Pull the DBP CD out of the box and place it in the CD tray.

My resolution is to NOT do what I would normally resolve to do... That's probably my best chance to be successful.

Every year I decide that that this will be the year I create an awesome game prototype that will allow me to set up my own gamedev company and quit my current job. But I never get around to doing that ...

... and with each passing year I'm more convinced that there's no money to be made being an indi gamedev outfit - unless you can come up with the new Tetris/Colombo's egg (for which you have a one in a bazillion chance). I guess I'm getting more cynical in my old age (if that were possible).

So I'll just wish for peace on Earth, as I'm sure that will be more attainable since it's totally not up to me.

1. Publish Geisha House! (it's essentially done, I'm just raising money for some assets).
2. Win something in the Nvidia competition.
3. Finish my completely awesome, super secret contract job so that the entire world can see it.

I'm sure to get two out of three this year

Come see the WIP!
