Well, I'm trying out a new system where users can nominate their favorite shoot-em-up (shmup) style game for shmup of the month. After the nomination process, we all cast our votes. This is currently in beta phase and I'd be happy for everyone to come on over and test drive it out.

There you'll see the board with the rules and a thread you can nominate your game in. Once we have enough nominations then the voting starts. The highest voted game will get a special award and also be noted on our site. If you have any recommendations feel free to share it here or there If this gets enough community interaction then good, if not, then I'll tweak it a bit.
