right i have sucsessfully made and textured an entity Deagle but i am currently trying to make it a useable weapon .. please may someone help ...

If you mean the model pack, then yes... We've all heard of it. Have you heard of doing your own, idividual work?

Back on topic,
To have a weapon in game, import the .X into EntitiesFromXfiles - You will get an FPE.
Make a new folder in gamecore/guns/WuTang/deagle and put in the following files. Rename the Deagle.X whatever you saved it to to HUD. Hope you understand this

Tbh thats exactly what ive done but i just didnt put the FPE into the gun directory folder i kept that for the entity though it didnt work ,,, not to sound cheeky but if you have some spare time would you give it a go for me i dont know where im going wrong

ye ive thought about weapon creator but im abit strapped for cash spent all my christmas money and tbh you can do all the stuff weapon creator coes yourself dosnt it just make an .FPE file for you?

why would you want to add more polies? thats just a tad strange. you may mean add more detail or improve the shape, but adding more polies for no point.... Is well just stupid

anyway i think this looks good just a cut-out, deagles are sorta boxy anyway - but thats just my opinion.

Hey Wutang, I don't know if it will work because I've never modelled in my life (well maybe on Paint, but that's about it) try changing the position of the gun in MS3D until you get it right...oh, and don't forget the FIRESPOT bone!

when I came to import the model into Max, there were tonnes of polies missing all over the place. Any reason why this would be?

@ smitho I think a couple of faces went missing when i extruded the 2d version of the gun a face on the grip and cock went missing are they the faces? but tbh you wouldnt see the grip one

Well, not animated, but here ya go. Had to work with the gunspec ALOT, especially for the muzzleflash. I rotated the gun and added a firespot on it for the muzzleflash to work, and at one point had brass and smoke but took those off because the weapon's offset needed to be visible was to great that they looked far to small.
