I cant find anything wrong with this piece of code:

It says that the object cannot be loaded. The name is correct, and this 3D file was from the media that came with the DBPro disk. So what is wrong.

well I think DBpro is supposed to load 3ds files just fine,
but strangely enough about half an hour ago' I was trying to load a 3ds object and I had same error you had...
so I tried to load the same object in .x format and it loads fine

I tried more 3ds objects... they don'w load... then .x objects fine!

to me is not an issue because I only use .x objects
I just wanted to tell you I had similar problem

Did you try to load any other 3ds file? just to make sure that the file you trying to load is not corrupted?

also try to add a
position object 1,0,0,0
or whatever xyz you need...so that you know it should be on screen btw

NOTE: some time it happens that your "load object" text is not colored blu!!!!
delete "load object" and type it again and make sure it is in blu

I had this before where for some reason DHPro editor does not recognise some command at times... then type the same again and it paints it blue... and then it works

In the release notice for patch 4, and also on the download page : [ur]http://www.darkbasicpro.com/patch4.php[/url] - look at the second from last paragraph.
