"Also FPSC is the coolest software on the planet."

yeh he's right there. I really like the story-line of the Game very original, good old fashioned zombies, monsters and gangs. good combination of mayhem.

Maybe add some more light maps to your rooms and (from your screenies shown) try to use a bigger variety of weapons.

Other than that *thumbs up*

I hate people saying: ''this is my first game, don't say it's bad.'' To be honest, your game doesn't look so great. You have to work on lightmapping a lot and improve your overall level desing. Your framerate is good but rooms look too large for what's in them. The story is kinda lame but I know that it isn't easy task to figure out a good one. In my opinion, it's kinda unrealistic that street gang kidnappes someone's wife.

Try to improve your game and it will have a great potential to be a great one.

Just my opinion,

honesty and reality time:

1.not believably urban feeling. switch the skybank to ww2/cty.

2.
Quote: "500 000 $"

its $500,000

3. I have yet to see the shotgun you mentioned in the storyline

4.
Quote: ""Teh ElIMin4tOrZ""

that is something I would expect a group of 5-6 graders to think up, and make a clubhouse in the tool shed in their backyards

5. Your framerate seems to be an issue at times. don't put more than three enemies near each other.

6. get rid of the glow below the ammo, its stupid.

7. set the health to 100, like it is in most games.

8. what does ZED stand for?

9. don't use that much stock media, it looks shoddy and bad. buy some of the model packs, and search for media on the forums.

"I admire its purity, a survivor, unclouded by conscience, remorse, delusions of morality"

"Once again you've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory!"

For a humoristic game, the names would work alright. But if you want to be more funny or serious, try to put some time into thinking up better names.

As for the game, it looks like your average kind of first FPSC game. I'd recommend you to get rid of that silly sci-fi glow under the ammo, as Zaibatsu said. It works alright for sci-fi themed multiplayer games, but now it just looks kinda stupid.

Why? I don't get it. Unless you don't want her cut up and..... oh, I get it now. Never mind.

Your first pic is the best, but I'm not convinced it's a city setting.

In the second pic there's a teleporter in the bathroom? The ceiling appears to be old concrete but there is a nice white ceiling fan on it. The room is too big and empty. Not believable.

Pic 3 is... I don't know what that is.

Pic 4 is from a big empty space warehouse.

Pic 5 is ok except it's too big and empty again with glowing things on the floor.

Pic 6 looks like it belongs in a multiplayer map.

The pics don't look they belong in the same game and don't look believable.

Best

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

In pic one put a light under the light poles (not the whole thing - just under the lamp part) cause they are giving off the light effect yet there is no light...

Seriously, you waited like just a few hours, i mean you have people from all over the world here, hundreds of posts added all the time. First of all people can be in bed or at school or work when you post it so you cant expect immediate replies, it may take upto a day or two for a reply sometimes but thats life! Dont expect people to just hop to because you are impatient. Now that the rants over...
it looks ok for a first game made with stock

Well it looks like a good name, but I don't really think the name fits it. Urban Conflict sounds like either a game VS terrorist or gangs. And what kind of name Teh Eliminatorz. The story is not that great. But it's your 1st game no hard feeling okay?

I advise you to try and use lights to your adavntage and in future use model packs 1 and 5. They are the most useful model packs there is. Model pack 5 contains very useful wepons for street warfare battles ie baseball bats with nails in them and knifes and pistols. You overall concept is very good though. Your next game, try to muck around a bit more with the settings like healh and life and sky.

The Story is original but if you have not, upgrade to V4. It should make lightmapping better when you do try to improve it. and I agree with the others on how the map isn't too "suburbs" looking.
Plus don't rush. Go take a shower and brainstorm while doing so and you should get ideas. Always works for me.
GOOD LUCK.

I'm going to be honest here.

The story line is absolutely horrible. I can see this is your first game, and I am going to tell you what every other person does when they see a first game - Improve your level designing.

It looks like you've opened a new level, placed random doors everywhere and thrown in some entities.

Try to give it a puzzle-like environment, where the path to get to the end isn't the most obvious. Try to keep all of the items in the one timeframe!

Don't worry though, I haven't created my first game in FPSC yet, so chances are it will be horrible.

Keep working and you will improve greatly!

Hi I just bought FPS Creator! Want to help me out?

try to include more entities. Even the stock media entities are alright. Also use the model pack 2 entities more often in it. Your rooms are to big for so few entities. I like the story though.

here is a small storage room made only using stock media but it is still pretty good.

Luciferia, I cant see any thing better in your screens, than what evil man has posted.

Evil man, its a better idea to plan out your level on graph paper and use each square as one segment. Don't just place entities every where to fill up a room, place them where they can be of some use to the level and also to make the player feel engaged in the action.

Also, placing blood decals all over the place is not going to make your game any better, the same with fire decals.

I never use decals! They float in the air, they are laggers, and they suck!

Yeah, do what Higgins said. I usually plan out the levels on graph paper, then I go to Microsoft Word, or whatever, and I type down how the game will look, what's in it, where you start, all that junk.

the video was interesting try not swearing so much it's usually though of as unprofessional. On the good side the music was good but obviously copyrighted the black screen for the last 2 minutes with only music playing were real strange too.

1: Very good for your first go.
2: It pays to keep an eye on the fpsc media forum. you can get many helpful items from there. Ie breakable planks to board up your doors and windows.
3: www.fpsfree.com look at the download section.
4: You need to get your buildings more urban. I kno its your first go but you are using ww2 cottages. Try using a segment and make it 3 storeys high and add a couple of fake windows.

Thanks.

I try my best to get the game look better.

Levels have changed a lot now,I added different skybox and more entities have been added.

The only problem is uploading the game,I have DSL connection with 256 kb/s,so I'll have to find someone who'll upload my game.
