Here is an autosave script...

desc = Plr Save In Zone

... I am not at my FPS creator program now, but does this actually write a file to the directory that the game is in?

Is it possible to change the name of the file?

No, it tells the engine (aka game exe) to save the game.

No, the engine does the work, not the script. What you want will take a rewrite of the engine.
