:state=0:animate=31,timerstart,state=1
:state=1,timergreater=750:state=2
:state=2:animate=14,timerstart,state=3
:state=3,timergreater=700:state=0

this is supposed to have the soldier crouched (animate=31) then after 750 milliseconds he's impacted back (animate=14). The problem is he just sits crouched all the time! I'm using version 1 with no updates. If you can help please. Thank you!

Welcome to the Forums!!

I know almost nothing of scripts... however, i see two possibilities.

1). You have you animations mixed up
2). Or, you're not not waiting long enough for the state to equal 2 and initiate animation # 14.

I also don't understand why you have that last timer there.

If I were to write this, mine would look like this.
(Remember, I'm new.)

And that's just me. Someone like Benjamin A, Butter Fingers or Airslide could post here and prove me wrong.

Best of Luck,

Well, the script works for me. You may have the impact thing wrong though. Animate=14 is "Impact Back" which means impact from the back. If you want the character pushed back from a front impact, use 11 or Impact Front.

One thing I've noticed is that if you have more than one character animating at a time, they may stop like you are seeing. I was only able to have one character doing this at a time. The others just crouched. This is probably due to the timer because you can only have one active timer at any given time.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.
