I remember this from eons back... wasn't this something that had been started out in DOS in the 90's by a British University student?

I have vague plans for World Domination

I posted about that in the 3D chat forums. Like anyone goes to the 3D chat forums.

I've been using AC3D for over 6 years, a very easy and powerful modelling program, but as Cattle has pointed out, it doesn't support animations. But.. if you have something like JTEdit, you can export your models from AC3D and create animation sequences in JTEdit or anim8or or something.

I was very supprised to see TGC selling this product, I've always assumed that Inivis were the soul suppliers.

For 6 years wow. Would you recommend it? Could you make the image above that huge machine? Could you make something like that huge helicopter on the top ?

I've not done anything as complicated as that, although I did do a Stargate model, (click sig for link).

@APEXNOW: The import/export file type list in the linked ad doesn't include dbo format, although TGC sells the program. Does an export to .x file from the program, and subsequent import of the .x file into DBPro produce what you thought you would get?

Hehe, I found that requirement amusing. As long as you have more than a graphing calculator you're fine.

I remember getting the trial of this AGES ago, and then buying (or thought I was buying) it... I was actually buying this crap one instead, and was really <polite> annoyed </polite>.

Jeff Miller, I'm currently using v5 atm, and the .X files it exports DO work in DBP. When exporting the .X model, you need to ensure that the Triangulate option has been selected otherwise this has been known to break the loading of the model in DBP (although I think TGC have fixed this issue now). Other than that, I've not had any problems loading models into DBP.
