All my monitors are CRT.

19" Viewsonic pf790 (main system)
19" IBM P200 (its a tad old)
17" CTX
17" Emachine (only part of system that still worked after 1 year)
17" Gateway
15" dont know, a friend has it.

And I'm about to buy a new one, as you may see in the next thread I'm about to create.

20.1" 1600x1200 LCD
19" 1600x1200 CRT
19" 1280x1024 LCD
15.4" (widescreen) 1920x1200 laptop
14" 1280x1024 laptop

Also recently offloaded:-
19" 1600x1200 CRT
15" 1280x1024 CRT
15" 1280x1024 laptop

Also looking to rid myself of the remaining CRT as it takes up too much room and replace with another LCD methinks.

Cheers

Impressive resolution for the size, what brand is it? My Apple powerbook 17" widescreen can't even reach that, its only 1440x900

Dell 8600. Couple of years old now. Dell have had top resolution laptop screens for years now (Samsung I believe). Awesome crispness. Was before everyone got all that glossy X-Black type look (apart from Sony at the time), but at least you don't get the glare. Plus 1200 pixel lines is the only way to program Don't bother if you have bad eyesight though.... My monitor is also a Dell (only 1600x1200 LCD at the time under £500). Almost persuaded myself to buy the stand array that allows 4 of them to be plugged in. Heh, would have got 4 20.1" screens giving a total resolution of 3200x2400. Nice Also would have cleaned out my bank account

I use a Mirai 19" widescreen running at a resolution of 1440x900. It wasn't an expensive monitor, but it's still good.

Mine's only 17 inch, but it's teh awesome, because it's got more inputs than a bunch of boffins talking about clever stuff. It's a monitor, TV with scart inputs, FM/AM radio, component in, memory card reader for viewing photos/videos and also has picture in picture (so I can view two serparate inputs simultaneously), usually watching tele in the corner while working. Tis sweetage macbane.

Quote: "Pepsi Max debuted in the United Kingdom and Italy in April 1993. The rollout was expanded to Ireland the following September, and to France, the Netherlands and Australia the following December. By the end of 1994, Pepsi Max was sold in approximately twenty countries. By the end of 1995, that figure had more than doubled.

The product remained unavailable in the United States (PepsiCo's native market, and the largest consumer of carbonated soft drinks), where one of its principal ingredients had not yet been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The ingredient in question—acesulfame potassium—is combined with aspartame to provide the beverage's sweetness. Some people claim that this results in a better taste than that of other diet colas (most of which are sweetened with aspartame alone)."

17" @ 1280x1024. I really want to get a 21" widescreen LCD with the ability to tilt the screen.

My laptop has a 15.4" TFT, but I can't remember the resolution right now.

I ordered my 112" x 60" projector screen material, and it shipped out on Tuesday, so it should be here any day now. And I have the audio system to go with it, don't worry about that. 6.1 surround, and my sub is a sealed 300 watt RMS 12" one that my dad and I built. It seriously shakes stuff in my dorm room and can raise serious pressure levels in a room this small. Lets just say that I can beat my neighbors in an audio war any day.

Ok basically its a projector projecting onto a wall that has been customed for a good picture, you can put dvds in it, music cds and everything. We have surround sound and a big bass machine. In the end it looks awesome !

Ooh, good point. I also have a 720p projector projecting onto a 104" widescreen projector screen. I also have pretty big walls, so 110" should be beatable... Actually since I moved it's really in a kitchen cabinet waiting to be installed again. Sigh...

Heh, I'll also go for 3" (or whatever) PDA with 320x200 resolution.

No, you've got me beat. Mine is only 480p... Epson Powerlite S3. Contrast isn't super high either, but it looks very nice. And it makes a large picture from a rather short projection distance. So for $500 refurbished, I'm a happy camper. And I got my screen material today, so I'm busy building the new screen

you all got nice projectors. I've got an old texas instruments like they used to use in school. And now that somebody stepped on my cable and broke it, I no longer have a d-sub connection on it, just s-video. But it works nice for movies.

I hate projector lamp costs however, I had one but ditched it

the best projection setup I saw in a shop was two mirrors acting 1 as a reflection point and 1 display.
It was the clearest projection image I had ever seen, I would set up this again if I had the space.

Just got mine setup again. Whoop. Unfortuantly I can't find my DVI cables in shipping for 720p goodness. Nevermind, the vast vast vast majority of my media is all region 2 DVDs anyway (500 and something lines). Luckily my favoured position for the projector (nice drop down on the ceiling) is just right for the screen (I used the online projector screen calculation guide with my fingers crossed). Watched Pirates 2 on it. Pretty good. Next step is to plug in a PS2 with Eyetoy. Most fun on a projector.

A Gateway 19 TFT, with a cruddy 12ms or so response time, but I like the display quality (nice and bright for my aged eyes).
